Whispering Pines Before and After School Care Program offers the best care and supervision for those students needing to stay longer than the regular school day 8:35am – 3:05pm. The Activity Leaders who will be with your children are certified by The Department of Children and Families. Registration must be completed through the parent portal, under the FOCUS application.

BEFORE SCHOOL CARE: 7:00-8:15 a.m. Early morning supervision is provided in the cafeteria for participating students. Breakfast will be provided and students in primary grades are escorted to class.
AFTER SCHOOL CARE: 1:50-6:00 p.m. Students will meet at designated classrooms. Payments are made on a monthly basis).
Students Pre-K, K and 1st the following is offered: Snacks, organized outside play, supervised homework for first graders and rest periods, story time, music to include musical instruments, quiet indoor games, arts and crafts, cooking and puzzle activities.
Students in grades 2-5 the following is offered: Snacks, organized outside play, supervised homework and relaxation time, quiet indoor games. A special activity hour which includes sports, arts/crafts, and board games.
Story Hour: 1:50-3:05 p.m. Monday through Friday. This is offered for those youngsters Pre-K, K and 1, who need to wait for an older sibling whose dismissal is 3:05 p.m. A story and follow-up activity are provided.
